Perspective in Product Photography
Is perspective in table top product important? Does it play also a role in product photography, or it only matters in Architectural Photography? For my my architectural photography portfolio click here
As an example I chose the same product, the same positioning and the same lighting set up. I was also taking pictures from the same direction.
What makes this dramatic difference? How can I avoid perspective distortion?
Here is the simple answer:
Instead of approaching the product and using wide angle (zoom out), increase the distance from the object and zoom in. Compare both pictures.
