Price in commercial product photography.
Here I chose extreme example that explains why I can't give you straight answer for a question: "How much you charge per a picture",
without seeing the object.
The time spent on positioning the object, post - production editing, removing digitally all imperfections, modifying object's look, adding some text/graphics may take a lot's of time.
Here is what needs to be done to obtain properly edited image:
1. Remove the background.
2. Convert image to PSD.
3. Fix perspectives.
4. Increase dynamic range (HDR) by working individually on shadows and on lights (shadows, lights, black and white levels, contrast, brightness).
5. Create new files containing the copies of some objects (knobs, switches, indicator lights). Do editing on them.
6. Select each plain metal surface, create a new layer, do editing to give it clean, metallic look with some reflections.
7. Now you have few dozens layers. Re - position all edited layers back in right spots.
8. Merge all layers and convert it back to JPEGs. Make sure you keep multilayer PSD file, because the client may ask you to slightly rotate the knobs, for example put them in On position.
